I don't understand the bad reviews. This has been my go-to appliance store since before it was known as Grand Appliance. I have sent numerous people here and their experiences were always positive. If you ask for advice on appliance selection they give you useful information. I've gone in there intending to buy a significantly higher priced appliance and they've talked me into a lower priced unit. They pointed out negative things they saw in the more costly unit. This is a chain store where you get the personalized service of a mom and pop.
They do not answer the phone. If you leave a message, they do not call you back. They're unreliable. They don't show up when they say they're going to. I have had two no call no shows. The air conditioner they gave me came out of the box dented and with pieces bent. I bought this unit three weeks ago and they still have yet to replace it. Awful service.
I called this store because they were an authorized speed queen dealership. I called on Wednesday to order my washer and dryer and I was told it would be coming in on Friday between 12-2. I called on Friday at 12 and was told it would be in around 2. My husband called at 3 and was told it would be there within the half hour. He waited in the parking lot for TWO HOURS. We didn’t get the appliances until 5:30 with minimal communication. Then we plug in the dryer (fresh out of the box) and it squeaks and rattles - I call the store and they told me to call the warranty company. The check hasn’t even cleared yet and this store was of no help to me, and offered us nothing in return. I have $1900 appliances and I can’t even do a load of laundry because it’s obnoxious. Go somewhere else to get your appliances.
I tend to buy close to home. I have bought 3 major appliances here with only one delivery having to be rescheduled but with advance notice. The last time I went to buy a Bosch dishwasher on a Saturday afternoon and the single salesman could not break free from a lady who could not make her mind up on anything. We waited 20 minutes and left. We made the salesman at the Grand Appliance in Brookfield very happy.
Awesome Tim very nice atmasphere very nice they don't bully you buy something very helpful not like home Depot where they charge you a arm and a leg for their products plus extra for the parts and very reasonable on their products
